Description
Book cover photography and design for a series of case studies on planned abandonment strategies for libraries.
We disassembled a typewriter and arranged the interior elements in a Knolling-style layout to convey the concept of taking something complicated (and outdated) and organizing the component parts to make it more understandable, a core tenet of planned abandonment strategies.
Additionally, we created a promotional video animating the elements from the typewriter to explode the elements as a nod to the process of planned abandonment.
